Sémillon

Sémillon is a white grape variety native to France's Bordeaux region. It is used to make both dry and sweet wines, the latter of which are often crafted from grapes affected by botrytis (noble rot). Sémillon grapes have thin, golden-hued skins and are known for producing rich, round wines with low acidity and an overall oily texture. In the vineyard, Sémillon is early ripening and rather vigorous, making it quite easy to cultivate.
