Grüner Veltliner

Grüner Veltliner is one of the most widely planted white grape varieties in Central Europe, synonymous with the crisp, refreshing wines of Austria. Like Riesling, Grüner Veltliner is frequently grown on steep, terraced slopes and creates bright, mineral-driven wines that are laden with texture and acid. Gruner Veltliner is known for its herbaceous flavors of citrus, white pepper, and crushed rocks. The wines are often ageworthy and pair well with a wide variety of foods.
