Grenache Blanc

Grenache Blanc, otherwise known as Garnacha Blanca, is a green-skinned mutation of the Grenache Noir grape. Despite its Spanish origins, the grape is more commonly planted in southern France, specifically within the Languedoc and Rhône Valley. The grape is known for producing soft, lower-acid wines that are weighty and textured, marked by flavors of honey and stone fruit. Grenache Blanc is also a key player in the fortified wine production (Vins Doux Naturels) of the Roussillon.
