Each Monday, we publish a round-up of the most compelling flash sales offers for the coming week. Given the diversity of our audience across all ages, preferences, and budgets, know that some of these bottles might not quite float your boat, or might not be the right price. But all of our choices represent genuine value and hard-to-match opportunities in their own categories.

The wines this week have a decidedly Italian bent, including a pair of excellent whites on Tuesday — a bright and briny Vermentino from Sardinia, and a powerful, smoky Soave Classico from the Veneto. In general, it’s a week for more affordable, everyday bottles, including a Malbec from Argentina on Monday and a North Coast Pinot Noir from California on Friday — so take this week to replenish your stocks and keep that wine-buying budget nice and healthy.

Keep an eye out each week for our top picks.

2018 Ferrari-Carano Siena Red Blend, $22.95

Why we chose it: This wine taps into the Italian heritage of not just the founders of the winery, but of much of the northern California wine industry. The blend centers on Sangiovese, while also including a bit of Malbec, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. It earned 98 points in the North Coast Wine Challenge and a gold medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Where to get it: Wine Express, available June 13, 2022 at 9 a.m. ET until sold out

bottle of 2017 Viticcio Ferraio Toscana Rosso IGT

2017 Viticcio Ferraio Toscana Rosso IGT, $12

Why we chose it: This biodynamically farmed red blend from Tuscany is a youthful and fresh mix of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. Hailing from the town of Greve, between Florence and Siena, Viticcio balances historic winemaking traditions with modern innovations to produce a vibrant and very affordable bottle.

Where to get it: Organic Wine Exchange, available June 13, 2022 at 7 a.m. PT until sold out or June 20, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PT

2019 Ramanegra Malbec Classic, $12.95

Why we chose it: Looking for the perfect BBQ wine? Try this delightful and expressive bottle of Malbec from the high-elevation region of Lujan de Cuyo within Mendoza, which offers a slightly more red-fruited expression of the variety than some other Argentine examples. Hints of pomegranate, raspberry, and strawberry abound, with just a hint of baking spice. For the price, it can’t be beat.

2019 Suavia Monte Carbonare Soave Classico, $26

Why we chose it: The Soave Classico region is one of the top spots for exceptional white wines in all of Italy. The Monte Carbonare vineyard, planted in dark volcanic soil reminiscent of coal, is one of the top sites in the appellation. It’s a powerful, structured bottle that earned 96 points from James Suckling, and can deliver immediate enjoyment or be stashed away for several years, if you so choose.

Where to get it: Wine Access, available June 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. ET until sold out

2020 Pala i Fiori Vermentino, $16

Why we chose it: Vermentino from the Italian island of Sardinia is a remarkable summer wine, redolent with notes of the fennel pollen that blankets the island, and with a bracing salinity that suggests proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. As such, it’s a fantastic bottle to pair with a wide range of seafood, from sardines to octopus to halibut. It’s also excellent with a simple aperitivo platter of briny olives, crackers, and a hard sheep’s milk cheese.

Where to get it: Organic Wine Exchange, available June 14, 2022 at 7 a.m. PT until sold out or June 21, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PT

Note: The pricing for this offer goes live on the day and time specified.

bottle of 2019 Dragonette Cellars Duvarita Vineyard Chardonnay

2019 Dragonette Cellars Duvarita Vineyard Chardonnay, $55

Why we chose it: Hailing from a biodynamic-certified vineyard in Santa Barbara County, this wine is fermented with native yeasts and then aged on the lees for 17 months in French oak barrels, 35% of which were new. The resulting wine is bright yet rich, with a captivating, layered texture and notes of apple, pear, and ripe citrus, along with hints of vanilla and clove.

bottle of 2019 San Salvatore Trentenare Fiano

2019 San Salvatore Trentenare Fiano, $24

Why we chose it: Fiano is one of the great under-appreciated white varieties of Italy. Hailing from Campania, it delivers a mix of orchard fruit (peach, tangerine), along with a firm structure and hints of flint and smoke. This biodynamic bottling from one of Italy’s leaders in sustainable production is a superb value that’s totally enjoyable right now but also has a remarkable aging capacity for a white wine.

Where to get it: Organic Wine Exchange, available June 15, 2022 at 7 a.m. PT until sold out or June 22, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PT

bottle of Louis Moreau Vau Ligneau Chablis Premier Cru

Louis Moreau Vau Ligneau Chablis Premier Cru, $35

Why we chose it: Louis Moreau is the sixth generation to work his family’s land in Chablis, but like many younger French vignerons, he has a wide range of experiences, including studying and working in California for years. Fittingly, he marries tradition and modernity in his wines, practicing sustainable viticulture, fermenting with natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks, producing wines that show a side of Chardonnay that is at its best in Chablis — racy, firm, and long-lived.

Where to get it: Wine Access, available June 16, 2022 at 2 p.m. ET until sold out

bottle of 2019 Greg La Follette GLF Pinot Noir

2019 Greg La Follette GLF Pinot Noir, $22

Why we chose it: Greg La Follette is one of the most respected and accomplished winemakers in California, including having worked with the iconic André Tchelistcheff at Beaulieu Vineyards in the 1990s. Here, he has produced a Pinot Noir from vineyards in Mendocino and Sonoma Counties, a fitting and price-conscious expression of North Coast Pinot Noir.

Where to get it: Wine Access, available June 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. ET until sold out

Note: The link for this offer goes live on the day and time specified. Click here to see if a previous day’s offer is still available.

bottle of 2003 Château Durfort-Vivens

2003 Château Durfort-Vivens, $160

Why we chose it: One of the Second Growth estates of Bordeaux, Château Durfort-Vivens has been under the stewardship of its iconic neighbor, Château Margaux, since the 1960s. While it might not quite reach those lofty heights, this bottle offers you a chance to experience a beautiful, aged expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Médoc for a lot less than Château Margaux would cost!

Where to get it: Wine Access, available June 17, 2022 at 2 p.m. ET until sold out

Note: The link for this offer goes live on the day and time specified. Click here to see if a previous day’s offer is still available.
