She writes the Kanpai Culture drinks column for The Japan Times and her work, which has been translated into four languages, has appeared in publications such as Conde Nast Traveler and Eating Well. A certified sake and wine professional, she has been a panel chair for the sake division at London’s International Wine Challenge since 2015.
