Joelle Thomson wrote her first wine column for Capital Times in 1994. She had just returned home to New Zealand from Europe where she fell head over heels in love with wine. She has since written 16 books and columns for every major daily newspaper in her home country. She has the Wine & Spirit Education Trust’s highest qualification, the Level 4 Diploma, and is at her happiest in the great outdoors.
