Alexander Valley

Spanning from the Russian River to the Mayacamas Mountains, Alexander Valley is one of Sonoma County’s most important wine-growing regions. The region is best known for its bright, fruit-forward wines produced from Cabernet Sauvignon, which thrives in the region’s gravelly, well-draining soils. The Valley’s warm days are moderated by cooler nights, which helps keep fruit fresh and balanced. In addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley is known for its Zinfandel, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.
